T: What is your cooperation history with Teknogon?T.K.: We started to work with Teknogon about 10 years ago. These were the years when the retail sector in Turkey started growing and developing very fast. During this process we and also our suppliers had to adapt to the situation. It is necessary for all units in the sector to perform the leading step because this is a team work and all steps at Migros Türk are taken based on this vision. In order to quickly adapt to this development we started to look for a company which was capable to answer our demands within a frame of appropriate cost and short time, which involves producing locally but at the same time is able to reply to our demands when it comes to show our face to customers, also which has international know-how. To this day Teknogon is among the companies we are working with. T: How do you comment on the professional potency and communication quality of the Teknogon team? T.K.: Teknogon is one of our greatest solution partners when it comes to material. Naturally our expectation from the team is professionalism and the focus on solutions during all steps of the process. Communication is one of the important steps during this job because in order to answer the customers demands it is necessary to communicate with the dynamic Migros team for 24 hours a day. |

T: What are your opinions about product quality and variety as well as after sales service? T.K.: Customer satisfaction and perception is an important part in the retail sector. The product offering has to be accurate with various alternatives and visually attractive. Of course there is much more to our job than that. Retail store business is a living and working organism. This organism is formed with the meeting of millions of people and hundreds of sections under the same roof. In this organism there may be various problems due to usage and wear. The solutions for these problems and after sales services have to be offered within the same variety and speed. With a variety in product offerings and active technical team, Teknogon is able to provide solutions within a short time.

T: Could you share a success story with us? T.K.: Last year in September, I remember one night before the opening of the Ankara 5M Migros store, which was renovated and everything should be turned over complete and ready to open the shop. But the illumination of the glassware and electronic group did not work properly. Electricity was turned on, half of the group was provided with lighting but the other half was not. It become midnight, and still the reason was not clear. The sotre would have to be opened in the morning. The technical leader of Teknogon called the hotel and woke up his electricians. We called the head of our electricity sub-contractor. Both parties and us worked together and checked all the inner cables of the section. The wrong ones were replaced and the job was completed by the morning, when everything was turned over to our store personnel. Everything was shining bright. This showed us again that all moments in our job require sacrifice and fast action. |
